Among the many other recreational features that Sparta has to offer are a public swimming pool, a nine-hole golf course, a country club, fitness centers, a library, a drive-in theater, three motels, a bed and breakfast and 25 restaurants. Yes, that was a drive-in theater you read in the list. Sparta has a renovated drive-in movie theater that operates during the warmer months of the year. It is on Hwy. 135 north of town, just outside the city limits.
